Andrew Yates is a director, cinematographer, and photographer whose career spans commercial advertising, still photography, and documentary filmmaking.

With years of experience directing and shooting commercial productions, Andrew brings a broad range of visual storytelling skills to every project. His work has taken him from large-scale productions with full crews, agencies, and all the moving parts that come with them, to intimate documentary projects where the entire production team might consist of just one person.

These days, much of his focus is on documentary storytelling, working with small crews or entirely on his own. Comfortable handling camera, sound, and editing, Andrew embraces a lean, guerrilla-style approach that allows him to move quickly and capture authentic moments as they unfold.

But he's equally at home on a fully crewed commercial set, bringing the same curiosity, visual sensibility, and commitment to storytelling regardless of the size of the production.
